The Catholic Church in South Australia employs over 10,500 people. These employees support Education, Health, Social Service, and Parish sectors and are integral to making their workplaces part of their broader communities, along with the countless volunteers that provide invaluable assistance.
On behalf of the worksites within the Church, the Catholic Church Endowment Society holds a Self-Insurer Registration with ReturnToWorkSA. Being registered in this way provides not only financial benefits to the employers, but personal support to the workers.
The implementation of the required safety and injury management systems is the responsibility of Catholic Safety & Injury Management South Australia (CSaIM). We have a team of dedicated experts who provide advice, support and guidance to the Church's workplaces and liaise with SafeWork SA and ReturnToWorkSA on their behalf.
Claims Management for the Catholic Church Endowment Society is administered by Lawson Risk Management in close consultation with CSaIM.
