A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is an administrative control for the management of hazards related to the use of specific equipment. They aim to provide a clear, step-by-step guide on conducting work safely.

CSaIM have developed a number of procedures related to equipment and tasks we have identified in worksites. However, they are generic in nature and while available for all worksites to use, they should be modified in consultation with users to make sure that they are relevant.
