Payroll

Payroll is a vital function of the Return-to-Work process.

If an injured employee has their Return-to-Work claim approved, they may be eligible for their wages to be paid through the claim. These wage payments are made as usual through the payroll system and then CSaIM will reimburse the employer.

To ensure that the employee receives the correct wage payments and reimbursements are made it is important that the following information is provided:

  • Employee's pay history for the last 12 months.
  • Payslips for reimbursement in line with the employer's pay cycle.

Note that the amount for wage reimbursement steps down over time so that longer term injured employees will only receive 80% of their pre-injury wage.

Please use the Income Maintenance Reimbursement Form provided below and email to Lawson Risk.
